What's New at Tomorrow's Solutions?

Tamar's going on the road. She'll speak to the New York City VFP User Group on April 3 ("Solving Common Problems with VFP's SQL") and to the Potomac Area FoxPro Users Group on May 1.

Tamar is writing for the new VFP magazine, FoxRockX. She's doing a series of articles on ways to improve your code by using commands and functions added to the FoxPro language sometime after FoxBase+. The first article covers parsing and building filenames and paths.

Things are starting to get rolling for Southwest Fox 2008. The call for speakers has been posted. You can help promote the conference by adding a banner to your website. Tomorrow's Solutions is a platinum sponsor for the conference.

At Southwest Fox 2007, Tamar received the FoxPro Community Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of her nearly 20 years of service to the FoxPro community.

At the end of the successful Southwest Fox 2007, Tomorrow's Solutions, White Light Computing and Stonefield Software announced Southwest Fox 2008, to be held October 16-19, 2008. Watch the site for location and details.

On October 1, 2007, Tamar was again recognized by Microsoft for her service to the VFP community through the Microsoft Support Most Valuable Professional award. Tamar has received the award every year since its inception in 1993.

Tamar's latest book, Taming Visual FoxPro's SQL: Real World Data Solutions for VFP, is focused on VFP's SQL commands working with VFP local data. It's available as an e-book only from Hentzenwerke Publishing.
